Is it just posting paid posts or having subscribers give you that boost?
If you don't really need the subscribers for the boost, perhaps you can make everything paid but leave most of the article available to read with a small section pay only. 😉
My experience suggests your project will be helpful. At one time, I was in the top quintile of income earners, but two mistakes left me in the bottom quintile.
I think your project will be helpful by assisting people in their attempts to avoid harmful mistakes. The two mistakes I made were these: First, I overestimated someone I regarded as an entirely honest and trustworthy close friend to whom I loaned my life savings. Second, I accepted the help of someone whose poor judgment and negligence resulted in the destruction of my uninsured home and most of its contents by fire.
That was true in my case. It's been said that the wise man learns from the mistakes of others, the average man learns from his own mistakes, and the fool never learns. I guess I'm average.
Apparently, that “quote” was a paraphrase. I decided that if you'll be using it, I should find its source and quote it accurately. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it online. I discovered that several people have said something similar, but I found nothing for which my comment could be a close paraphrase. Evidently, either I read or heard it somewhere that isn't mentioned online, or I made it up by inadvertently combining similar comments from at least two sources. In case I'm the originator of that expression, you're welcome to it. I don't require credit.

Good luck on the endeavor!
Thank you very much. I was thinking to mix free and paid, with paid being basically ~50% free. Except for rare exceptions

Thank you. Two questions: what makes you think my project will be helpful? What two mistakes did you make?

Sounds like mistakes are the one certainty in life. We learn, but we learn too late to make use of lessons.

Same. I’ll be using this quote. Thank you

Many can take valuable lessons. For I could write books on my own... But def support ya and your endeavor
Thank you. My only wish is that I can truly help in meaningful ways
