The big bang has been challenged with the data we are seeing. Big bang is a throwback to the belief in god by the scientists, even if they claim they're atheist.
As for god, this explains your point.
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"
I kinda figure meaning is to live and beget life. We have evolved ALL THIS to make that happen. Subjective but profound meaning.
Perhaps along the way this overthinking/feeling was hit with unfathomable trauma and it has created some terrible downward (frownward?) spiral, some right assholes that have cursed their descendants.
Yes but if the meaning of life is to procreate, then the meaning of life is life, which is circular reasoning. You mean the function of life is to procreate but for life to have meaning, that meaning must transcend its realty.
I think that it MAY just be that circular reasoning. It could be that simple. All the rest is seeking emotional conditions to keep us going along. The senescence of fertility that women experience is so they can focus wisdom on nurturing and enwisdoming their offspring.
Perhaps, clever brains have over thought it. That combined with multi-generational trauma (MGT) has further perverted the situation.
Where most humans are now is quite separated from basic natural reality because of the dis function generated by MGT.
I am not sure I understand why for life to have meaning it must transcend reslity, but I would like to understand that perspective.
I have spent too much time thinking about what happens when something in a system goes beyond the normal limitations of the system. For me, i think of black holes, supersonic flight, Cherenkov radiation (subatomic particle going faster than speed of light in a crystal), and shattercones (hypersonic fracture propagation due to meteorite impact). So, to have transcendent “meaning”, such a “meaning” must transcend the normal limitations of “meaning” in this existence. Fair enough. What are the normal limitations to “meaning” in this existence? This existence is corrupted. The concept of “meaningfulness” here is corrupted. Things that are thought to be meaningful are scams. Thus, truth itself transcends this corrupt concept of meaningful in this existence. Truth is transcendent here. Truth is a transcendent meaning. Weird things happen when transcendence occurs - shock waves, emissions of light and fascinating self-organization. I suspect that tiny forces, usually ignored in the presence of larger forces, become important and organize things in different ways when the normal limits are exceeded. Does this transcendence archetype apply to souls energetically locked in a system? Let’s find out.
Truth here might be akin to truth in Plato’s Cave allegory. To know we have been deceived is a form of truth, I suppose. It is the important truth here, it puts us above this false reality. It frees our consciousness from the limitations of this false reality. Clearly this truth, this knowledge of this false reality, transcends this false reality. We are free friend.

That’s a very interesting comment. What is truth? How can we know we have reached it? Why is this system corrupt? Who says it’s not as intended?

Unfortunately, the barriers between possible realities is impenetrable
